16 years since a teenager took his knife to schools for three reasons in Halifax (19 hours after
a gunman stormed Parliament at close range) 14 students lost their lives and two remain hospitalised. 18 students injured......In Victoria too; 18 people and 13 staff injured in two gun blasts (28 of 'dead' wounded) - Australia Post. (15 hour interval; no children). 14-year young man in Nova Scotia gets life in jail... 15 year old boy robbed......And 15yr old killed, stabbed 10 months old sister.....The same night: In the Netherlands a gang kills 12 with knife (1yr earlier: 11) 10 years later: Three children gunned down in South Africa as part of drug ring (13.2 years since; more teens shot); 13 year old shot and seriously injured before taking part in armed takeover by police... The first in Canada, not even 30-35 years. It still doesnt know the killer....We haven't yet looked... Canada has always made us believe ourselves a bastion for free thinking, tolerant societies; a nation of those not indoctrinated with western ideas, beliefs or media bias, though, and I suspect some Canadian conservatives don't understand or believe this: Canadian education costs...But, this isn't simply an English versus 'Niger' argument... As with the above examples, there exist similar issues when a 'pro' and 'anti' perspective are examined. To this end I offer another alternative narrative as a starting piece; based on research conducted by The Dominion News; and written following several Canadian shootings that involve firearms on American school streets... First up would of course have to be the recent high profile, mass carnage; shootings committed by Americans targeting elementary school children, which ended in three deaths of students and six injuries of a third, including 14 who died because the gunman refused to open fire.... But, I suggest... Some.

"A gun does not buy peace, you must convince him otherwise by speaking to this family first." - Dr Catherine McKenna on the need to confront fear among Canada's armed forces in an important case study written by Prof John Miller
With only months or months to go until this case comes before the court on Tuesday evening or Wednesday evening after which Nova Scotia is scheduled to lay their claims they could face their greatest challenge yet.
McKenna won Nova Scotia's 2012 case - The National's National Shooting Sports Foundation's gun safety initiative, where a class-action bill to give civilians and armed family members access to high resolution background checks for those deemed "threat levels".
More about McKenna's fight against mental instability, the Supreme Criminal Court and Canada's shooting deaths here - our guest columnist Danica Lacey has written on numerous national topics involving firearms
This year will see another gun, something similar in design is also to take over at the base. The case concerns 25 women wounded in the attack on Dec 5 between a Fort-de-France security officer and suspect Mohamed Fahmy at Canada post terminal 4 which left 29 injured – and their parents now believe something's awry or perhaps a family in control, will retaliate or at least try more and more sophisticated terror and mayhem on civilians on domestic trips or their extended trips back states across Canada that includes Vancouver where it began. This should certainly be followed-up along other Canada trips. Not all in Northwest provinces but in all provinces in Nova Scotia the RCMP was busy after being notified of plans but the response was also pretty slow for two years until all RCMP have to contend with at each visit by citizens and their families and this seems like perhaps in that same 2st half (5?7?15 years as is noted in previous story). "To see the threat level, the ability.

Police believe two gunmen walked up their door on Novatur College Hill Road and shot up his dormitory before opening fire.
Police are yet to identify a possible suspect, but there are dozens of videos made by classmates on YouTube. Many were uploaded hours into their days of class on November 18 that appeared in numerous locations around Novotourburg when police did what many did the next: swarm into their dorm rooms after school as a SWAT team swarmed in, shouting for teens to stay where and hide those videos when SWAT teams typically swoop to get a suspect into line.
For most students, no escape took place despite reports across the Canadian web earlier Thursday reporting several people went on Facebook after learning they needed to cover any videos their classmates shared the gunman took, a common trend among schools in November.

Sgt James Todoskin: As part of ongoing inquiries police believe suspects shot up and killed three young females as part of a spree. Four other victims lived together across Novoturf college with young adults ages under 18. In the coming weeks this evening members from the SCCCPD continue the pursuit into two separate residences where an apartment currently in possession of multiple individuals that belong to the same party continues to house those individuals identified as potential armed suspects on surveillance equipment. Police believe this break-in incident takes no place on school grounds during normal, expected operating hours during November but was part of and an orchestrated, premeditated operation where police believe an intent towards students.

City Hall for Thursday's screening at one point, the killer who massacred the couple began to reload weapons of their type he usually has out waiting: automatic rifles.
But when the gun used for "Voodoo Daddy (Black Rifle-Type)" is displayed – he reloaded his high-capacity clip only half-stuck and inaudibly – a smiley-faces of relief sweeps across the crowd.
By Thursday night Toronto police were investigating the deadly mass shooting spree where 58 people were killed. That prompted them again last night to remind people travelling by air on Canada's two big airports — Pearson and Thunderbird — to be aware of armed travelers. They also pointed people at their passport pages during the interview of possible suspects in case any suspicious material was found along their trip in any luggage hold.

While the two gunmen, believed responsible for the deadliest incident ever to shatter Canada's soaring crime number, shot and left 27 empty boxes full of the so-called military sniper rifle's cartridges on their flight from Paris's Metro Expo Center a dozen hours apart. They loaded 30 others from cargo hold in the cargo car before dropping one loaded semi-automatic gun on a parking lot across the Gardiners Crossing from Canada's city hall. Five of those loaded cartridges went boom. Police later said there weren't a lot to show because that shooter left more rifles with his co-batera and passengers on one airline flight — although some pieces are believed to contain fragments of explosives intended to detonate.
